Carrie M. Duncan is a Visiting Assistant Teaching Professor in the Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs and the Interim Director of the Center for the Study of Organizational Change, both at the University of Missouri. As an undergraduate she pursued interests in evolutionary psychology, cultural anthropology, and psychobiology. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Master of Arts in Anthropology, both from University of Missouri. Carrie received her Ph.D. in Public Affairs in 2014 at the University of Missouri’s Harry S Truman School of Public Affairs. Her research interests include the psychodynamics of organizational culture and change, governance and nonprofit management, mental health service delivery, and qualitative psychosocial research methods. Carrie’s academic interests stem from her experience as a nonprofit Executive Director and as a practicing organizational consultant. Her teaching interests include leadership, organizational change, organizational behavior, and qualitative research methods. She has published or has articles forthcoming in Voluntas, Parenting: Science and Practice, Organizational Studies, and Organisational and Social Dynamics.
